WiFi and internet connection

SIM cards and data

  • •You can buy prepaid SIM cards at operator stores, kiosks, and some supermarkets.
  • •Prepaid SIM cards usually cost between 10-20€ and include data and calls.
  • •Make sure your phone is unlocked to use a Spanish SIM.
  • •Unlimited data plans are available but can be more expensive.

International calls

  • •To call Spain from abroad, dial +34 followed by the number (without the initial 0).
  • •To call abroad from Spain, dial 00 followed by the country code.
  • •Many messaging apps (WhatsApp, Telegram) work perfectly with WiFi or mobile data.
  • •Consider using VoIP apps like Skype or FaceTime for cheaper international calls.
